Fully overhauled by Rupert Noble

Condition:

Thick, warm, chocolatey, luscious bold tone. The kind of sound you can only get with a Martin. This one is extremely dark from it’s bold low end to the round top end. Great projection and loud when pushed, but never too bright or edgy, just a huge sound! Think Conn but warmer…

This has been well played and as you can see from the photos has a few repairs to key guards, but no large repairs or significant damage. Due to the price this would be the perfect sax for entering into the vintage market or for a doubler trying an alt for the first time, however the sax is certainly good enough to be played as your main horn and punches well above its weight in terms of sound and playability.

These Martins are the crowning achievement of the company. A real players horn and a huge amount of saxophone for the money!
