Martin Handcraft Silver Plated Tenor – SOLD

Huge thick, warm, chocolatey, luscious bold tone. The kind of sound you can only get with a Martin. This one is extremely dark from it’s bold low end to the round top end. Great projection and loud when pushed, but never too bright or edgy, just a huge sound! Think Conn but warmer…

This is a simply stunning tenor, the silver plate is in excellent condition with both brushed silver and shiny highlights – aesthetically extremely pleasing! It would seem that the sax has had very little playing in its near 100 year life. It benefits from a top notch overhaul and plays beautifully.

This one comes from a player and collector who has been thinning out his collection, it would make a nice addition to a collection but is also a great players horn and deserves to be played. No reason this couldn’t be your main everyday tenor in fact if you try it, you’ll want it to be!
