A real treat of a baritone – there’s not many of these about! This is an early example of the Cigar Cutter and is a great horn for the small group jazz soloist, nice and light and feels like a ‘big tenor’. It is extremely easy to get around and feels superb under the fingers. The sound is huge and the horn resonates incredibly well, with a nice punchy lower end, as you’d expect from a Selmer from this era. The large bore gives a full rich tone that has great depth and warmth with great intonation and great character. What more could you want? We can even include a second-hand Adams Bari stand on request.
