Selmer 38780 is a UK-market Super-Action Tenor which shipped from Selmer Paris in November 1949. It was engraved in France but shipped without lacquer or set up, which would have been done at Selmer London.
Selmer London was the distributor for the British Empire (except for Canada, which was sold through Selmer US but shipped directly from France to Toronto)
Selmer Paris shipped roughly 215 Tenors to Selmer London in 1949.
