Description

Exceptional condition

Condition:

This Sax is one of our more modern horns having been manufactured in 1992, however it looks absolutely brand new! This saxophone has been used professionally by one of its previous owners, who has had the left hand palm keys raised with cork by Sax technician, Steve Crow. This improves the ergonomics somewhat and feels extremely comfortable to play. This cork could, of course, be removed if you wished. The Sax has been extremely well looked after, and plays beautifully and effortlessly.

A one piece neck design often preferred to players as opposed to the detachable crook models. This Selmer plays exactly how you’d expect a series II would do; a centred compact, focused sound that is warm and round. Very free blowing and versatile, you can shape the sound as a player extremely well. It has an extreme consistency throughout the registers and requires very little adaptation whilst playing. Tuning is excellent and all the notes ‘slot’ very precisely.

The sound is beautiful as you would expect from a Sax like this, it’s easy to play and simply a joy!
