Selmer Mark VII Tenor sax – SOLD

An outstanding example of the Selmer Mark VII Tenor Sax. For sale in original case with original Tenon Bung, original sales tag and Selmer 15 year guarantee!
Overhauled by Steve Crow just two years ago this sax plays like new. Whilst always in the shadow of the Mark VI, the Mark VII represents a more forward looking approach from Selmer, think of it as a Mark VI on steroids with a very contemporary feel and big sound appropriate for the ostentatious 70’s but very versatile for the modern player (think Marius Neset!)
This example has superb action and feel although thumb rest is non-original (slightly smaller) but comfortable.
It is hard to imagine finding a better example of these rarer horns.
