Selmer 94162 is a UK-market Mark VI Alto which shipped from Selmer Paris in January 1962. It was engraved in France but lacquered and set up at Selmer London.
Selmer Paris shipped roughly 330 Altos to Selmer London in 1962.
Selmer London continued to do their own lacquer and set up until early in 1963 (end in the early 104k serial range) After this, all UK-market Selmer Paris saxophones were shipped with finish and setup.
