A lovely example of a ‘Chu Berry’ Conn Alto. This has been well loved and shows significant lacquer wear. The sound is incredible – the ‘Chu Berrys’ have a sound world all of their own – it is incredibly dark and warm with a lovely vintage vibe. This is certainly a player’s horn rather than a collector’s piece, but is mechanically spot on and plays beautifully. For very little money you can own and play a fantastic quality horn and a great piece of saxophone history.
