Description
Condition:
These fantastic Baritones are becoming increasingly difficult to find in perfect playing condition. This one is a beauty and has just had a full overhaul (well over £400 spent) – new pads, corks and felts. Completely regulated and nickel-silver keys polished. Some wear on the original lacquer, but nothing significant. It’s ready to go and it’s even got a brand-new case by Reed & Squeak.
It plays exactly how you’d expect for a 12M (huge!). It is stunning – Gigantic, rich, warm, bold colourful sound with great projection and excellent intonation. Easy to get around and fits nicely under the fingers. Superb as a soloist’s horn or for playing in an ensemble. Get yourself a 12M and join the 12M baritone club alongside players such as Gerry Mulligan and Harry Carney!
